Dr. Claire Brandon

Dr. Brandon is a dual board certified  psychiatrist  in both adult psychiatry and consultation liaison psychiatry (treatment of psychiatric illness in medically ill adults). She completed her residency and fellowship training at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and did a second fellowship in public psychiatry at New York University in New York City.


Treatment can include medication management, psychotherapy (dynamic, CBT, ACT), or both as well as alternative and holistic treatments.

Anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, identity issues, assertiveness training, and focus on women working to advance in their careers.

Dr. Brandon sub-specializes in medically ill patients i.e. Crohns and Colitis, IBS, oncology, transplant, and neurological issues including headache. She is trained in reproductive psychiatry and consults with and treats women in all stages of their reproductive cycle.

Psychiatric Evaluation: 

The first session is focused on getting to understand how Dr. Brandon can help you and reviewing metrics for anxiety and or depression. The psychiatric evaluation does not ensure a therapeutic relationship. 


Prior to your evaluation, you will receive intake forms to fill out via email to ensure your entire intake is used productively to better understand how to help you.


Dr. Brandon is an out of network provider, meaning she does not accept insurance as a form of payment. This ensures that the highest quality of care is able to be provided without restrictions from insurance companies.
